Jason Smith

Jason joined ORR Protection as In-House Counsel in June 2024 after 10 years with a well-respected Louisville-based law firm, where his practice focused on drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements, small-to-medium-size mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, corporate governance, and construction and development. During that time, he served more than nine years as external counsel for a publicly traded REIT and seven years as external counsel for an industry-leading national home health and hospice provider.

Prior to his career in law and business, Jason was a communications and marketing professional in the professional sports industry, including time with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Columbus Crew.
